Additional Festival Information

Additional Information

Location

The 2026 festival will be held near the town Pine, Colorado on the Historic Green Mountain Ranch, approximately an hour outside of downtown Denver. The exact coordinates are 39.297825, -105.275951. I also suggest saving directions to a device or using a physical map as service to the site might be spotty.

Parking

A 4-wheel or all-wheel drive vehicle is not required to reach the ranch. Volunteers will help direct you where to park once you arrive. Please carpool if you can so we can reserve as much space for camping and music as possible.

Arrival and Departure

The festival gate will open at 10:00am on May 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. Volunteers, band members, artists, and vendors may arrive early.

Tickets

Tickets will be handled on a standard will-call list. Your name will be checked against the list when you arrive at the festival. If you bought a group package, tell your friends to give the person checking tickets your name. If you do not have a ticket, we can take cash and card on site the day of as well. Folk Punk’s Not Dead is a NOTAFLOF and will accept donations in order to reduce the cost of your ticket. Accepted donations include:

  • Harm reduction supplies
  • Gently used clothing
  • Non-perishable goods
  • Art supplies

Camping

You are responsible for your own camping experience. If you choose to camp with us, you are responsible for providing your own food, water, and shelter for the weekend. This is a helpful guide on what to consider when camping. Please keep in mind that this is Spring camping in the Colorado Rocky Mountains and prepare accordingly. Things to remember:

  • Sunscreen/sun protection
  • Flashlight/headlamp
  • Rain jacket
  • Basic first aid kit
  • *PLENTY* of water
  • Trash bags**

Please remove all personal property and trash upon leaving. Alcohol consumption by minors (under the age of 21) is prohibited. Remember to keep a eye on the weather and know what to expect before you arrive. Remember to stake your tents and canopies so they don’t get caught in the wind. Lock all food in vehicles overnight so we don’t attract bears and other animals. There may not be cell service at the site. Wristbands checked upon reentry. RVs and campers are allowed, however there are no hookups for water or electricity or waste dump stations available on-site.

Campfires

Green Mountain Ranch does not permit personal campfires outside of propane stoves and fire pits or fully closed steel pits with a lid. Fines for fire violations can be up to $1,000 + cost of any property damage and firefighting efforts. Fireworks or pyrotechnic devices are prohibited as well. The festival will abide by all potential fire restrictions in place during the time of the festival. If local fire restrictions allow, the festival will construct several larger community fire pits that will be managed by volunteers.

Trash

Everyone must haul out all their own trash. Absolutely no littering, including cigarette butts. CIGARETTE BUTTS ARE TRASH. If you see trash on the ground, please help us by picking it up and putting it in a trash bag. The festival will be provide several community trash receptacles. You are encouraged to vocally “boo” anyone you see throwing trash on the ground until it has been picked back up. If we cannot leave the area cleaner than, or exactly as we found it, we may not be invited back to the Green Mountain Ranch in the future, which would suck. Also, caring about the environment is punk as fuck.

Cancellations/Refunds

The festival will be held rain or shine. In case of severe weather we will delay until the weather passes. We will not cancel the festival. We are not offering refunds at this time.

Kids

You are welcome to bring your kids – people under 18 enter for free. Just remember that this is a folk punk festival and folk punk environment. Minors must be accompanied by a guardian, no exceptions.
